Maris Art Project Asia Tour

Topic: Inclusive Art & Cultural Exchange

The Maris Art Project Asia Tour brought the work of Japanese artist Liku Maria Takahashi to the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum from February 14–17, 2019. The exhibition introduced the Maris World Standard Table, an innovative system developed by Takahashi that uses ten different sizes of sand grains to express variations in color lightness, together with herbal essential oils applied to canvas, creating a multisensory approach to experiencing art.
Organized by Colina Dreamcatcher, the exhibition created an inclusive space for people of different ages and abilities to experience art beyond sight, while fostering cultural exchange, connection, love, and peace. Colina also serves as Spokesperson for Liku Maria Takahashi, supporting the artist and the vision behind the Maris Art Project.

What is it about:

The Vietnam-Japan Bridal Fashion Show 2023 (VJBFS) – Sun of Love was a high-profile cultural diplomacy event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam. Serving as the lead organizer under the leadership of Executive Producer Colina Q Tran, Colina Dreamcatcher orchestrated this grand production. The show featured collections from legendary designers like Yumi Katsura and welcomed distinguished guests, including Former First Lady of Japan Akie Abe, prominent politician Satsuki Katayama, representatives from 15 consulates and embassies, more than 80 celebrities, renowned photographer and artist Leslie Kee, business executives, and other distinguished guests from Vietnam and Japan. The event provided a bilateral platform for international business networking, artistic exchange, and cultural diplomacy.

What is it about:

The Vietnam-Myanmar Bridal Fashion Show 2019 (VMBFS) – The Secret Garden was a pioneering cultural diplomacy event aimed at strengthening bilateral relations through collaborative design and sustainable development. As the lead organizer, Colina Dreamcatcher orchestrated a cross-border production involving 45 crew members and international talents, promoting peace and cultural exchange while contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The event welcomed representatives from 35 embassies and consulates and was broadcast on MNTV (Myanmar National Television). It featured prominent Vietnamese talents, including Mai Giang, winner of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2012; Tieu Ngoc Linh, Top 5 Miss Universe Vietnam 2017; and Giang Phung 2025, runner-up of Vietnam’s Next Top Model, with renowned catwalk instructor Cindy Thai Tai serving as Catwalk Director.
